Solid Plasterer

Course Outcome
Upon successful completion of all theoretical and practical components of this qualification, you will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Qualification – CPC31011.

Duration

This qualification requires completion of theoretical and practical components, with a nominal term of 36 – 48 months.

Apprenticeship

This Qualification is delivered as an Apprenticeship.The apprentice will apply set coats and render, texture coats to straight and curved surfaces, install precast and decorative mouldings and restore and renovate solid plasterwork.

Fees and Funding

User Choice Student Contributions

Concession: $0.64 per nominal hour (40% of the non-concessional amount)
Non-concession: $1.60 per nominal hour

This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering for residential and commercial construction work.

The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as two specialist fields of work.
