Fibrous plasterers

Course Outcome
Upon successful completion of all theoretical and practical components of this qualification, you will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Qualification – CPC31211.

Duration

This qualification requires completion of theoretical and practical components, with a nominal term of 48 months.

Apprenticeship

This qualification will be completed over 48 months as an apprenticeship. The apprentice will assemble partitions, install and finish plasterboard and fibre cement sheeting to walls and ceilings.

Fees and Funding

User Choice Student Contributions

Concession: $0.64 per nominal hour (40% of the non-concessional amount)
Non-concession: $1.60 per nominal hour

This qualification provides a trade outcome in wall and ceiling lining for residential and commercial construction work.

The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as two specialist fields of work.
